Game Thread Ohio State vs Wisconsin - 10/26/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

Even though we haven't started quick in a few games we aren't allowing fast starts either.
I'm going to have to post this in the defense thread, too, but after looking at how we've keep team from getting fast starts I noticed a stunning fact about the defense in the second half: It has shutout five of seven opponents in the second half, and aside from the opener against FAU, the defense has given up one single score in the second half the last six games (3rd quarter TD at Nebraska):

Defense needs to get it together during quarters Half1 and Half2.

I feel like Taylor’s only significant contribution will be a late run in the third similar to how Saquon was shut down a couple of years ago. Outside of that kick return and the late run in the 3rd, he accomplished nothing against a much more error prone defense.

Is he even 100%? Hard to believe he is when Chryst didn’t even have him on the field with the game on the line against Illinois.

Taylor at even 80% REALLY doesn’t bode well for Wisconsin. If he has a dinged up leg, he’s not going to be able to get those grind-it-out, move the pile gains like he’s been able to do consistently.

We have to be Gap sound Saturday...

We're coming into town for the game

One of the biggest mistakes we made versus NW was the interior DL got too far up field and a few times the DE's lost contain. That's why NW got chunk running plays. The staff corrected it after a couple of series.

NW dropped 8 into coverage versus Wisconsin. It worked like a champ. I am interested to see how Mattison and Hafley approach this game.

Wisconsin loves to hit the TE in the seam in against zone. Ferguson is a very good TE. He will sit down and get easy receptions.

I'm guessing we will try to pressure Coan with our front four.

Your right about gap integrity. Our linebackers cannot miss tackles or get OOP.

Definitely need to tackle better against UW. Other than that I think we have an advantage on Offense, Defense and Special Teams. As has been said, slow down Taylor and cover the TE and they don't have much else on Offense to hurt us.

These clowns should just forfeit before setting foot in the best stadium in college football after that embarrassing loss to Illinois and disrupting a top ten showdown. They’re lucky The Horseshoe will even allow their fucking cleats to step inside and disturb the ground where the best to ever do it call home.

They make a living feeding off the mold of the Big Ten and couldn’t even do that right this season to make it unscathed for the only thing they were ever going to accomplish next Saturday: padding Ohio State’s strength of schedule.

Now come get annihilated and go home and get your fuckin’ shine box, Bucky. If you’re lucky, the Gophers might not set you back another 10 years when it’s all said and done by facing off against your owners in the Big Ten Championship.

Lot of "o$u" and "cheaters" stuff on there. I almost forgot how much I hate them.
One Bucky fan isn't too optimistic: "I never thought they would get exposed against Illinois. Just like that the high hopes go down the shitter. Absolutely deserved to lose and I shudder to think how bad it will be next week."
