Ohio State vs. Youngstown St., Tuesday, Dec. 18 @ 7PM, BTN

Sometimes having too much time to shoot is worse than catching it in rhythm and having a guy closing out on you. They did miss a lot of open shots, especially in 1st half. Shot 70ish% from floor 2nd half and scored over half a 100.

Being too open is a terrible excuse for missing shots. They weren't making the percentage of 3s that they needed to make against Syracuse, either. I tend to see the bad 3-point shooting as more of a potential lasting problem area for this team rather than a 20-minute fluke. This is a team in YSU that others (not even teams thought to be better than OSU) hung 100 on, so struggling to make shots against them even for a half is somewhat alarming to me.

not making excuses for them DZ, just speaking from experience. You hesitate sometimes, think about the shot just a split second more instead of just stroking it when u have all that time. It is alarming the way they have struggled, especially in the 1st half of the last 3 games though. Agreed.
