Ohio State wins Big Ten men’s gymnastics championship

The third-ranked Ohio State men’s gymnastics team captured the 2016 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championship Friday in front of a hometown crowd of 1,579 at St. John Arena. The Buckeyes secured their 13th Big Ten title overall and first since 2007. Ohio State totaled 434.450 team points and set the high team score of the night on three events: rings (75.250), vault (73.900) and floor exercise (73.550). Illinois was runner-up with 429.700 points, followed by third-place Minnesota (429.100).
