Ohio State WR Michael Thomas will be bringing in touchdowns for the Saints

He's arguably the most complete wide receiver prospect in the entire 2016 NFL Draft, and now Michael Thomas will be playing on Sundays with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints selected Michael Thomas with the No. 47 pick, giving Thomas a new place to call home, and build a career in the NFL.
Thomas has been on the eyes of pro scouts ever since 2014, especially after his stellar performance against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl, where he made his signature catch in the corner of the endzone against defensive back Cyrus Jones. In 2015, Thomas had 56 receptions for 781 yards and nine touchdowns, and was without a doubt the Buckeyes' best receiver.
The standout receiver not only has the build of an NFL wide receiver, but has a complete game. He's a great pass catcher, using his hands as opposed to his body, and had a great receiving range, being able to catch the simplest of passes, to going over the back of a defender. If there's a ball up for grabs, he's likely coming down with it.
Thomas measured at 6'3 at the NFL Combine, weighing in at 212 pounds. Questions were raised about his touches, but he didn't show concern, watched film, and did his job. He ran a 4.57 in his 40-yard dash, and a Buckeye receiver best 18 reps on the bench press. He's a complete, and pro-ready prospect. If the Saints able to develop him properly, Thomas should be a good receiver for plenty of years.
