Expectations were ridiculous. It is what it is.
We have great coaches and great talent so all this is "fixable". And it's very early to want people replaced on and off the field.
The coaches will get to work with the kids and this team will get better.

You know what?

Fuck all this noise!

Right now this is eerily similar to 2014. Lost the last two games in 2013 and the second game in 2014 at night on national TV. Everyone was bitching and believed the wheels were coming off. Then the ship got righted and look how that season ended. We probably should have lost the last two games last year. It was a scUM implosion that kept that from happening. This team is as talented as any in the country and despite some mistakes we have an outstanding coaching staff. So get back on board the train Buckeyes.

I also spent Saturday night vomiting after drinking way too much gin and strawberry vodka. JUST LIKE AFTER VATECH IN 2014.

IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER BOYS.

I have a proposition, for Urban. There is an OSU student I know, hellofva kid. Great leader. This kid is a physics major from my home town, was an Eagle scout, won every academic, civic, and leadership award possible. I think he may be ordained as a minister as well. This kid is just an AWESOME LEADER. In fact, I think he is the only 3 time Captain of his intramural team there at OSU.

I think he would make an incredible Mike LB. He is 5'6" and weighs 155 lbs., so there may be some physical limitations in his run stopping ability, but I am telling you, this kid is a natural born leader and destined to make General in the service after he finishes his ROTC.

We need to get him on the field in some capacity.

I would say this team is not as talented as any other team in the country. The RB's are but that's about it

They're not lacking for ball carriers. The rbs need a lot more touches before we ever see McCall and Parris is pretty good with the football.

They need true wideouts. Mack finally made a play and Victor is coming along. Need more of those two. And for JT to realize that scramble drill jump balls to Parris are a terrible idea while 11' high ones to victor are good. I'm pretty sure he was throwing that away on the sideline and Victor effortlessly snagged it (not in bounds).
Agree the RBs need more touches and less for JT. My thought is McCall gives them the Samuel role, jet sweep, etc. It appears this has been abandoned so far.

I don't think it's ridiculous expectations for a team that smoked nearly this same Oklahoma team at their place to beat them again this year.

PERSPECTIVE

Vegas still has OSU at +300 to win the National Championship, which is the second best (or worst for your wallet) odds behind Alabama at +120. Others, Oklahoma +600, scUM +1000, Penn St +1100, Clemson +1000

Those Vegas guys are usually pretty smart, let's get over this game, and back to the chase.

They (the backers) all are... on Fowlers TD ALL three backers ran to the running back.

Wtf why did all three go? I can see why one would jet in there but someone had to be responsible for the FB no?
I was shocked how often this happened. OU schemed well and Baker is a brilliant distributor, so I can see some nice constraints catching OSU by surprise a few times. But breezing through the youtube replay, I see that happening repeatedly. Which is probably why Fulton and others kept saying folks would be crushing the defense if it weren't for the offense.
