Devil's advocate: why did she push and smack him? I get that he may have a pound or two on her but why do women feel the need to hit men and not expect a roid rage KO punch? Regardless, F him in the A. Pretty sure she wasn't going to pull this out of nowhere.

I hear you, and I in now way think that you agree with his actions. But as a father of a daughter, I may kill a guy who puts his hands on my daughter in any way. Whatever she did to provoke, a man who was raised properly would NEVER put his hands on a woman. Point blank.

Have a daughter, too. I would hope she would not act like an ass, but not sure the prison guards would allow me to post on BuckeyePlanet during my hour of free time if this ever did happen to my precious angel.

And agreed, we can't always be there and live lives for them, and though I'm sure this chick did everything to antagonize Mixon, he should've known better.

And I also fully disagreed with Hyde when he put his hands on a woman too, but I personally know that his family handled him afterwards, and we've no problems with Hyde since. I'll just say that he had a NUMBER of family members letting him know how wrong he was

. She waited too long to file for battery. The negligence part was thrown out because he intentionally punched her. Counter intuitively, willful and wanton misconduct was also thrown out because he intentionally punched her. The intentional infliction of emotional distress remains to be settled. She is also suing the restaurant for lack of security.

Sorry but I generally have a hard time sympathizing with anyone, male or female, when they decide it's a good idea to put their hands on someone. You're taking your chances at that point. It wasn't like Mixon out and out attacked her first. That's when I'd agree he's a colossal piece of shit. What bothers me the most is, if that was a scrawny guy who decided to step to Mixon like that, people would be laughing their asses off watching said dude eat that right hook then proceed to blame him for putting his hands on Mixon. Yes I know a scrawny dude would still be stronger than the woman in this case, but the difference in strength is still so vast that either party would probably leave the encounter with Mixon severely injured...yet the feelings towards Mixon would be completely different.

Hitting a guy vs hitting a woman is completely and utterly different. Regardless how large or small the guy or girl is. Mixon is a colossal piece of shit

If you, as a father of a daughter, raise her in such a manner that you think that it's worse for a dude to touch her, than it is for her to lay hands a dude, then you are doing it wrong.
