Oklahoma State Cowboys (official thread)

FINALLY.. the sex stuff

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial&hpt=hp_t3

When the recruit arrived in Stillwater he received an enthusiastic greeting from two members of Orange Pride, a group made up of female undergrads that is described on the university website as an "organization that donates their time and efforts to assist with Recruiting for Oklahoma State and the Football Program." The women explained that they would be taking him to dinner, the recruit recalls, but first they had a stop to make. A short time later he was having sex with both of them. "Rock 'n' rolling, I had the best of the best -- the aces," says the recruit, who spoke to SI on the record but is not being named to protect the identities of the two women.

I saw this article (dtd Sept 2012) and the picture just looks a little perverted here......

Coaches Vs. Cancer
This past Sunday a group of Orange Pride members, along with other Oklahoma State athletes, joined together to celebrate a birthday bash sponsored by the American Cancer Society and Coaches Vs. Cancer.

While the most difficult days for these beautiful children are spent inside the walls of a hospital, Sunday was different from such days. It was a day for them to forget all about cancer and indulge in various stimulating activities while spending time with their favorite cowboys and cowgirls.

Oklahoma State officials finally meet with NCAA over SI story

si-osu-cover.png

Over a year after the release of Sports Illustrated‘s “The Dirty Game” cover story, Oklahoma State’s brass finally had its day in “court.”

The Tulsa World reported that “university President Burns Hargis and additional Oklahoma State officials were in Indianapolis for a Thursday meeting with the NCAA Committee on Infractions.”

The story originally accused Oklahoma State’s football program of payments to players, improper benefits from boosters, no-show work programs, etc. Y’know, just run-of-the-mill major violations at every level of the program.

As soon as the exposé was released, sources began to poke holes in the story. The esteemed news outlet was even sued by one of Oklahoma State’s boosters who named in the piece.

The NCAA already stated that the allegations were “fundamentally unfounded.” The governing body and Oklahoma State even released a joint statement in October discussing the claims.

“…[a]fter a thorough review by the NCAA Enforcement Staff and an outside consultant hired by Oklahoma State University, allegations of misconduct in the Oklahoma State football program as reported by the media in September 2013 were fundamentally unfounded.”

While the NCAA felt at the time that the majority of the claims lacked substantial credibility, it still continued to investigate the school over three possible Level II violations, according to the Tulsa World‘s Bill Haisten. Those violations involved flawed drug-testing, Orange Pride (student hostess) oversight and a failure to monitor the program.

Those violations aren’t nearly as serious as the original claims, but there is still a possibility that Oklahoma State could lose scholarships over the infractions that were found by the NCAA.

The only organization that would take longer to investigate would be the Tallahassee PD; however, there is no way they would even come up with three possible minor violations.

I don't know what's worse, that a smear piece by Thayer Evans & George Dohrmann consumed thousands of man-hours and likely millions of dollars of the NCAA's and Oklahoma State's time and money, or that it took the NCAA sixteen months to figure out George Dohrmann was full of shit.

Three fans dead after crash at Oklahoma State homecoming parade

STILLWATER, Okla. -- A woman arrested on a DUI charge crashed into a crowd of spectators Saturday during the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade, killing three people and injuring nearly two dozen others, police said.

Stillwater police Capt. Kyle Gibbs said the woman's sedan plowed into an unoccupied motorcycle of an officer who was working security at the parade, then into the crowd. The driver of the sedan was taken into custody on a driving under the influence charge, Gibbs said.

Gibbs said three people were killed and 22 were injured in the crash Saturday morning, including eight who were airlifted to hospitals with critical injuries.

Police said Adacia Chambers, 25, was taken into custody on the DUI charge. Her hometown was not released.

"We treat these like we would any homicide investigation," Gibbs said. "It'll probably take several days to get additional information as to the cause of the accident."

Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis said there had been discussion about canceling the homecoming game Saturday afternoon against Kansas but that it would be played. The victims were expected to be remembered with a moment of silence.

Cont'd ...
