ANDREW NORWELL, CAMERON HEYWARD NAMED TO AP NFL ALL-PRO TEAM

Two former Ohio State players are among the selections for the Associated Press' 2017 NFL All-Pro team.

Former Ohio State offensive lineman Andrew Norwell, who now plays for the Carolina Panthers, was selected as the NFL's top left guard. Former Buckeye defensive end Cameron Heyward, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was selected as one of the league's top two interior defensive linemen.

Both players are first-time AP All-Pros this season.

That's awesome he is having such a good NFL career. It blew my mind that he went undrafted, he was such a stud here. Good job Andrew!

No kidding. I had to go back to double-check that he actually was a UFA, because it just didn't seem possible to me that no one drafted him.

Not directed at you, but more of a scouts take.

Very few people thought he could make it at guard in NFL. Sometimes when you’re pushed down the line to make way for an underclassmen at tackle, it’s seen as a knock on your ability.

I think scouts viewed Norwell going from tackle to guard as a demotion. And if you’re being demoted in college, what will happen in NFL?
