OL Branden Bowen (2nd Team All B1G)

I'm going to predict... he's ready in a couple weeks.. starting LT by begin of Nov... and this line will be a mean fighting machine...
I think Munford has done marvelously... but I'm a big Bowen fan...

FWIW Bowen's plan is most likely to get to NFL after THIS season
He's eligible.. he's married with child...

Just sayin'; He says he's coming back (above); maybe he means just this season, I don't know. I'm not sure he is "NFL caliber" at this point in his football career. He does have some family obligations for sure; however, I do know this is his Junior year and he'll be better off to pursue his "life after football" with a degree.

Did I miss something that suggested he was coming back in '18? Wasn't he just under the knife?

Would love to see him come back, but I'm not believing that we see him until '19. And then, I think it takes a full solid year for him to show that he's NFL ready. I believe he can / will make it to the next level, but not this year. If he does, imma convert Mormon cuz that's borderline a miracle.

While I'm sure that this is a motivation, I found it astounding how many guys I went to school with who had kids at home... and that was back in the late '80s. I'm also quite certain that a part of my astonishment had to do with my relatively sheltered small-town Ohio upbringing. Read: He's hardly alone on this count.

At this point, that extra year, to Mili's point, would likely significantly benefit him. There's just not enough tape yet.

Furthermore, I suspect that he's one who will end up doing more in life after football than he will do on the field. And that's not a knock. I just think that he's going to do well for himself with his diploma regardless of an NFL stint.
