Great choice in schools Corey!!!

Can anyone explain how Scout.com has him listed as the #4 OG in the country; however, they only have him at 3 stars?

Scout.com: Football Recruiting

scout hasn't completed their rankings yet. anyone right now that has 3, 4, or 5 stars on scout is going to have at least 4* when the rankings are completed.

so, wood, mewhort, and linsley will all be 4* players when scout completes their rankings.

Welcome to the Buckeye Nation Corey!

BTW - I know that ratings are worthless sometimes, but how can a guy be ranked as the 4th best player in the country at his position and then the same organization only give him a 3 star? Oh well....

Corey Linsley, an offensive lineman from Youngstown (Boardman), this afternoon became the 13th commitment to Ohio State's 2009 class, according to Bill Kurelic of Bucknuts.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Linsley reportedly picked the Buckeyes over Stanford, though he also had offers from several other schools.
"With his commitment, Ohio State is poised to make a clean sweep of the top three offensive line prospects in this state," Kurelic said.

Ten Days. Five commits - all in the top 159 nationally.

Plus Justin Boren.

Plus two highly rated JUCOs to the BBall team.

Have we ever had a better 10 days in recruiting?

I think a couple years ago in January we had a big stretch, like 6 or 7 in a couple days...

But either way this has been a great stretch...
