OL Demetrius Knox (Official Thread)

My only concern is that Knox went up against a 3-4 Defense. He had no one in front of him all night. Playing against a 4-3 is a different animal all together and will pose unique challenges. Here's hoping that Meech is up to the challenge!

Go back and watch him specifically. While true it was a 3-4, he was constantly looking for work. He played well. He'll see plenty of 4-3 over the next two weeks.

Thought I saw some third down plays being run between Meech and Prince, and were effective. That's gotta show that coaches have faith in those two, the 'weak side of the line'. Could be also that Nebraska was overplaying the left side of the OL, but that might force the next few teams from overloading, making them more honest. Do enjoy how the Oline is one big happy family. And I thought the Oline would be stronger with Billy sliding back to RG, and putting Taylor into the lineup at center......still might happen. Maybe Meech forgot the snap count against Clemson? Anyway, congrats to Meech. Now UFM can list Meech as another Texan on his list of 'take aways' from UT :)
