TEMPE, Arizona The Arizona Cardinals have been awarded offensive tackle Derek Morris off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 6-foot-5, 332-pound Morris was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent out of North Carolina State on May second. Morris started 22 games for the Wolfpack, including all eleven games as a junior last season.He declared for the N-F-L draft following his junior year.

Arizona QBs were sacked a total of 45 times in 16 games, thats almost 3 times a game, that may have been the worst in the league. Morris may have a chance to earn a spot....

Bingo. Just look at the history of this kid (SAT issues here and the sudden jump in his score despite not completing a recommended preparatory course). It is just too easy to start letting things slide once you even think you have a chance to go early - and then forget about catching up.

He played in 25 games (22 starts) during his collegiate career at North Carolina State and started all 11 games at right tackle as a junior for the Wolfpack. Morris declared for the NFL draft following his junior season.
