OL Gavin Cupp (Official Thread)

Happy to see it work out for Gavin, and the extra motivation he'll have lining up against the green. Not happy from a numbers standpoint, but it will work itself out. There haven't been glowing reviews about the depth behind the starters on the line, so some need to start to step it up, or get passed over.

Glad to see an Ohio boy can still earn an offer at camp if he's willing to work. One of my most fond memories was a Mr. Darron Lee earning an offer in the same manner...he turned out ok I guess.

He must have really wowed our staff though because I thought if we took a 4th OL, it would have to be someone like Greg Little. I like it though, always nice to grab quality Ohio OL. Did not realize it until now but our entire starting OL this year will be Ohio boys...ComputerBuck must be in absolute euphoria.

Urb should just offer every MSU commit on principle. Doesn't have to be an OFFER, but just to get under their craw and raise the kids' exposures.

Bush league move by MSU, but glad it looks like it will end well for the kid.

It'll be this move by Dantonio in 3 years that'll be highlighted on one of college game day's pre game segments when we're playing for the B1G championship.... He went for his dream and got the offer he wished for because in order to reap the rewards you have to be prepared to take some shots. Which is exactly what Gavin did and I hope that he comes aboard (as I'm sure he will)

NO kidding... Lee wanted to be a buckeye so badly and he went out and got the offer he coveted. This is why I am never afraid of all the out of state kids we take because quite simply we have enough Ohio kids that have a passion for Ohio State that it'll be more than enough to make up for kids who maybe don't know what being a buckeye is all about coming in (as we all know they all leave buckeyes).
