OL Harry Miller (Official Thread)

Harry is a BIG piece of the puzzle to keep in place in many respects, so that is great news. We hang on to the guys we have in the '19 class, win a Rose Bowl, and pass the torch to Day on a hot streak...I think we are just fine. I said this in another thread, but I expected some initial fallout with the '20 class. But if we keep guys like Harry on board and finish out '19 strong, I am not worried about '20...that will fall in line. In any event, Miller was one of my favorites in this class and glad to see he is still on board.

Came on this thread to say the same thing. I think he is an absolutely huge recruit, a cornerstone of this class.

Done Deal
On Thursday, Dec. 6, Day made an in-home visit with Harry and his family. That visit went very well. Kristina followed up with a talk with Day on the phone on Sunday night. And now there is no longer any question in regards to Harry being a Buckeye. According to Kristina, Harry will sign with the Buckeyes on Dec. 19.

Originally Harry had no intention of going to Ohio State, he was going to go to Michigan. Then in June of 2017 Ryan Day called and their relationship just developed. While Michigan’s communications decreased, Ohio State’s increased with both Meyer and Day. When some adversities occurred, Day is who Harry called to discuss things with and talk things through. Harry, Kristina and Sean consider Day to be wise beyond his years.

But in the end, Harry has felt he’s being led to Ohio State. Harry has felt things he has prayed about for years in a little prayer house in Nicaragua are coming true before his eyes. Harry believes in Ryan Day. Harry believes in Ohio State strength coach Mickey Marotti. He believes in Buckeye offensive line coach Greg Studrawa. He believes in the mission work he is being called for - a mission work plan that was fully supported by Meyer and is now completely supported by Day. Harry believes he is supposed to be at Ohio State and he will sign with the Buckeyes on Dec. 19, 2018....
