OL Ivan Douglas (National Champion, R.I.P.)

Come to think of it did any of the other starters from that team not get any type of shot in the NFL? Too bad Ivan had the injuries or he probably would have.

Last night I was watching this years fiesta bowl on ESPN classic and one of the facts that came across the screen was that 52 players from tOSU and Miami have played in the pros from that year.

I don't understand the allure something that personalized and awarded for individual achievement as a part of the team... I obviously understand the bling and fandom factor, but it just seems like a really strange thing to take pride in

This brings up a question I just invented: how much would you pay an OSU player (current or former) for a ring (either for a bowl game or national championship)?

I am a monster memorabilia collector, especially Ohio State and the Chicago Bears, and I get a whole bunch of stuff at the pro HOF every year too.

That said, I wouldn't want a ring at all, because I didn't play or earn it. It wasn't my national championship. It would be like me trying to sell my PhD.
