OL Kyle Trout (transfer to Cincinnati Bearcats)

First HS scrimmage was last night for Lancaster.. Kyle will play guard and tackle rotating between the two as they want to pull him some. He's also playing defensive end this year splitting time with another player. We got a good taste of three games as it was a four team scrimmage. It's really got me itching for football this year... can't wait!

Evan Flood writes mostly for the Wisconsin site in 247sports. Although people here may not be too interested in that school, articles from him are some of the closest to reality that I've seen. He doesn't try to make up his own story like some reporters do and he's been very helpful. He wrote an article on Kyle this morning...

http://wisconsin.247sports.com/Arti...e-more-Big-Ten-offers-during-the-season-84723

Kyle said "I've always been an Ohio State fan. It'd be really cool to get one, because all of my friends are Buckeye fans, they'd be really proud..."

Kyle will visit Michigan State for the Notre Dame game on the 15th. It's likely he will receive an offer from MSU during that trip.

Kyle is starting at defensive end this year along with offensive line. That may give an indication of how much faster he's gotten this off season.

Also he's mostly playing left guard and pulling almost every play. He does play some left tackle as well.

Thanks as always for your insight on Kyle, Rapture. Hmm, Left Guard huh? I wonder how he would compare then to a guy like Andrew Norwell, who is also now our starting Left Guard? Similar size, athletic, with Tackle experience.

Hes played every position on the o-line and will play wherever hes needed. Hes really gotten quick and changes direction well which helps get blocks in open spaces. He will end up doing a fair amount of left tackle but the coaches love running behind someone so big.he regularly is 20+ yards down field running with the backs. The team had 440 yards rushing to go with 120 passing last week.... As for compares? Id rather leave that to you guys lol:)
