Cleveland Glenville lost to Long Beach Poly this season, but it wasn't for a lack of effort. The Tarblooders had a chance to tie the game late, but things didn't work out. Junior offensive tackle Marcus Hall used the game as a chance to show the country what he could do and he did not disappoint.

Marcus has recently received mail from Alabama, Boston College, Colorado, USC, Wisconsin, Illinois, West Virginia, Purdue and North Carolina, but he has not been told about offers. He is interested in many schools and will be on the Ginn Bus this summer.

From O&B News...denies a favorite amongst OSU, Illinois, Florida, USC, Indiana, West Virginia and LSU. Says the Illinois win in Columbus really made him take notice of the Illini.

Size and athleticism are obvious. Great pad level and has a mean streak. He will need to work on his burst and he tends to take the defender in the chest instead of intializing contact. I could see him playing either tackle or guard but I like him at guard, though I do like his wingspan at tackle. Wouldn't be surprised to see an early offer go his way if the grades are in order.

It's really hard to gauge his athleticism in this video. On only one play did I see him go down field. Definitely not near the athleticism of a Brewster, Adams, or Shugarts. I see him on the interior in college.

With that said, he looked pretty good and there are no questions about the competition with Glenvilles OOC.

I'll give you the athleticism...he just had pretty good footwork would be a better way to describe it and he looked fairly athletic in pass coverage for his size. I would have to agree with you though...I see interior OL in Hall.

Great to see and Hall is going to be a good one. We have Simon and as far as I'm concerned, Hall is now up near priority #1 instate with Turner right behind (though I'm sure we are sitting well with Marucs :wink2:).
