OL Max Wray (transfer to Colorado)

If we have a real shot here, I sure expect the staff to make him a major priority. The kid surely has many selling points to consider, depth chart being one of them.

*Just checked his CB predictions and he has had a bunch going to the good guys lately..........up to 70+%. Wow.

Which is nice but they are probably all just following Barton's lead. I doubt any of them have any info that is different from what Barton has shared on the OSU and Tennessee 247 boards.

Ryan Callahan, 247's Tennessee site recruiting analyst, said he's hearing the same thing independent of Barton. For whatever that's worth. I'm not familiar with him or his predictions though.

But those on a UT recruiting forum gave the ol' "he gone" after Callahan's crystal ball pick. Although, they said he's scared of competition too.

Gone meaning gone to us, or just not going to UT? Seems like this i turning into an OSU/Bama race.

Didn't realize the staff offered his brother as well, a 2020 prospect.

The new Borens?

Regardless, I feel pretty optimistic about this based on no intel whatsoever. Maybe it's because we HAVENT landed a big time TN prospect. Urban doesn't want to rule all the land. Just the lower 48.

I live in Nashville and the amount of talent coming out of this area has really taken off. The good thing about Nashville is over half the people here are not from Nashville or Tennessee. So you see a ton of tee shirts, flags, license plates, stickers, etc.. of a lot of schools across the country. So tapping into this area is a really good idea.

Nashville is like Austin ..its transplant country...

Guess where the wife wants to move? I do like Nashville. I really like the Franklin area which, coincidentally, happens to be where the Wrays are from.

Max reminds me a little of Decker coming out of high school. Huge frame with good mobility. Looks raw but he's got the physical tools and the mentality to develop into a 1st round LT. Plus, with all the pageantry going on with some of the members of the 2018 class, I'd love to stock up on some no-nonsense guys like Max. There's usually a correlation between how a prospect handles the recruiting process and how quickly they adapt to life as a college football player. He strikes me as the type who will integrate well into our program. Really hope we get him.
