OL Max Wray (transfer to Colorado)

Calling Coach Schiano.. come on down

His younger brother Jake* is at Colorado; even though Jake is no longer on the football team, it still wouldn't surprise me to see him land there. Jake will undoubtedly be staying at Colorado since he'll still be on a full scholarship, etc.; now it just won't count against the Colorado football team's 85.

* Colorado offensive lineman Jake Wray forced to medically retire

One of Colorado's talented young players is being forced to hang up the cleats due to an ongoing issue with his back. Freshman offensive lineman Jake Wray has medically retired, BuffStampede.com has confirmed with head coach Karl Dorrell via CU's Sports Information Department.

Well crap. I'll never forget how exceptionally well Max played last year when we needed him. Munford and NPF coming back was huge, but I wondered if we'd have a casualty like this. Good thing we have Dawand but damn, Max looked like he was going to be the real deal here. Best of luck to him wherever he lands.
