OL Michael Jordan (Green Bay Packers)

Elflein was praising Jordan quite a bit in his individual interview. He nonchalantly included him when listing the starters and mentioned him as being special more than once. Urban also mentioned him starting pretty candidly during the floor interviews, implying that he's a uniquely talented guy and mentioning him in the same breath as Maurkice Pouncey. I don't think the talk of him starting is as much of a motivational tool as people are thinking. I think it's just one of those rare cases where a young guy is significantly better than the older guys he's competing against. McMillan said in so many words that Jordan's situation is similar to his where there are a lot of expectations surrounding him. He also said that unlike him, Jordan has a legit chance to start if he makes it through fall camp. Pretty exciting.

Yeah, the closer we're getting to the season, the more I'm starting to back off my comments of thinking that Meyer was motivating and thinking that Jordan is just THAT good! It'd be something to have a guy be a 3 year starter on the O line without having to redshirt. Even if he were to be in the two deep at the very least, that speaks volumes about his game!

Michael played on the same team that my son played on in Canton Michigan and we know his family very well. The Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) is a 305 acre campus and is the home of Canton, Plymouth and Salem High Schools. The educational campus has a student population totaling more than 6,200 in grades nine through twelve. We are just down the road from Ann Arbor. Michigan recruited Michael very, very hard. He has good head on his shoulders along with nearly a 4.0 GPA. We are blessed to have him on our team.
