If Urban can land NPF it will be hands down the best prospect on the O Line he has brought in to CBus. And I say prospect. As we all know the OL is hard to predict. But looking at potential coming out of HS, he’s easily the top IMO. Partly because he is a LT all the way and that’s such an important spot. And then you add in his athleticism, good feet, motor, and the fact that he is a high character, smart kid and he’s the whole package. He’d also be the most important recruit in the current class IMO. It would be incredible to finish up this class with a stud like that.

SEC insider type article. Someone claims they feel it’s Bama or tOSU.....blah blah blah.

Does mention the departure of the OL coach from ND being a factor.

Personally I’ve just always felt tOSU had a better shot than many think. Seems his 5 are TTUN, ND, UF, Bama and tOSU. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we are every bit as much in the running as anyone. In fact, total hunch but if you told me it would come down to UF and tOSU I wouldn’t be surprised. And we have his official last I believe or near last as it is early Feb visit. Hmmmmm......think Urban will be ready for that one?

No way on earth that NPFs recruitment as it pertains to Schiano didn’t include full disclosure given the UT deal, Schiano’s pedigree, etc. Heck, even us as fans said from the start we hoped he would stay here 2 years. Many thought it was just a 1 year stop for him.

I personally feel it was more of a connection with shared values, “yeah my kids went to school here because x reason, that’s exactly why I took the job with Urban because he believes in x, etc. and I’m moving on to another gig but this is where you want to develop as a player and a person”

That’s always been my impression anyway.
