OT Paris Johnson Jr. (All-American, Arizona Cardinals)

I saw him get beat pretty badly on multiple reps. Sounds like he performed better in team situations. He just needs time like any tackle not named Orlando Pace. He has the frame, athleticism, and a nasty streak. Once he gets the technique and strength it's game over for DE's

Can you share links? I only saw glowing reviews. Given the hardware that he brought home, I’d struggle to believe that he didn’t handle 1:1s well.

Here's a couple.

Offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. had a very slow start on Tuesday and looked overwhelmed by the level of competition at times. The Ohio State tackle has still not played up to his top-10 billing, but Wednesday’s performance was an improvement as he is starting to adjust to the speed and skill of his opposition.

There is going to be a lot of discussion about who is the top offensive tackle in this class because Paris Johnson Jr. was just OK during one-on-ones during the week but good in team drills and the game

I'm not bashing him. I just think he's still a work in progress who will need an adjustment period. I don't think the Pace comparisons are fair or accurate. Still wouldn't trade him for any other OT prospect in this class.

Athleticism? Check.
Size? Check.
Motor? Check.
Attitude? Check.
Is he a HS OL and not a seasoned college vet? Check.

Can't wait.

This. Give me the raw materials with the upside, not the maxed out HS Sr.

Besides, we don't need him to be Orlando Pace this year (and no one is Orlando Pace, for the record).)

I am certain there was a guy wearing 75 throwing some poor Rice DB around out in front of one of Mike Wiley's first three TDs (I think his very first) as a Buckeye in 1996. I thought his name was Orlando Pace
Dammit, he's real!! I didn't imagine all those pancakes in front of Eddie George!
yeah... same guy
