Congratulations to Reid on becoming a Buckeye. One more Michiganer moving over from the dark side.
I think when Jake Ballard committed to us he was listed at about 6'6" and 265, and he has remained at tight end, so it shouldn't be a definite conclusion that Reid ends up at tackle. Particularily with our potential young depth at the tackle positions. It will be interesting to see if Reid can keep his athleticism, and not get too big, so he can stay at TE. A strong side of either Adams or Shugarts and Fragel would be some kind of imposing wall to throw up against a D-line and play some power football.

Sorry to rain on the parade but Michigan never offered Reid. He will be a good tackle but is not that great of a TE. I think Hubie is much better for you guys. Reid is gonna have to do some work to become a good tackle but I think he can. Too bad he didn't want to hear that yet. BTW, Dion Sims is being VERY quiet and I would expect him to go the basketball route before football. Good pickup, but again, I wouldn't excpect him to be a TE for you guys.

I can't see a legit 4.7 in his future. There was a video of him working out this past spring and he looked to be packing on the muscle quite a bit. I know he wants to play TE but I can see him as a 290lbs OT. The kid has the frame, IMO, its just the want to play OT.crazybuckfan40;1171238; said:
