One wish for the offense

If you could fix one thing offensively, what would it be?

There has been a lot of discussion about our offensive production (or lack thereof). If you could fix one single element, what would it be? I know that most believe that there are multiple issues to deal with, but which fix is most important...the number one priority?

Yeah I can Agree with that. I see too many players running backwards trying to make plays and gain yards.

The number one thing from an offensive standpoint that I'd like to see is for us to find a rythme. What I mean by that is have the offense find a patter maybe Pass,Run,Pass. Or just any type of pattern to move the ball. Because if we do that we can then run so many things and formations to set up each play accordinly.

With our O line we should of been able to make 8-9 yards on every run up the middle vs SDSU. There should be no way our guys are getting pushed back into the QB which is what way too many time yesterday. This has been a problem for quite some time now and all i can think is to blame it on the O line coach.

Just about the only time TSmith wasn't flushed from the pocket was when SD was rushing 3 guys and even then he didn't have all day like he should of.

And How is Teddy supposed to do a reverse when there is 3 guys waiting for him behind our offensive line?

I could go on and on but i think i've made my point.

What do you think?

I just saw Riptide has resurfaced on BN.

Perhaps he'd been willing to share his wealth of knowledge with JT.

Now he takes the argument waayyy too far. he thinks JT is a shitty coach and he(riptard) knows better because he's got a freind of a freind who heard Joe Tiller say how predictible our offense is.

It sickens me that I'm even partially agreeing with anything his moronic ass has ever posted.

PS its all of those things you listed Artillery and it all gets back to the one big thing at the top.

play calling !!! how about faking it into the line just once on short yardage and hitting sombody, anybody over the middle; how about screen passes, tight end over the middle, faking the quick pass to ginn and hitting somebody on the other side of the field etc etc etc. i also think that all the posters who think we can just open up the playbook against our biggest foes and have em work is just delusional. how about trying something other than just plain vanilla plays against weaker opponents so we can actually practise our execution in real game situations......
