BP fellow members can anybody suggest any sites on the net, the cheapest route, to order 2 tickets for Phoenix, Arizona. Me and my wife are going there in July to visit my dad in July. He lives in Lake Hazasu.

Don't use Orbitz. Let Maddox tell you why.

Edit: warning; giant explative on the page. Then again, there are explatives all over BP, so if you shouldn't be looking at things like that where you are, what are you doing on BP?

I'd advise using Orbitz to find the flights and also check Southwest. Book the actual flights on the individual airlines websites; same price minus the Orbitz add-on plus they sometimes give miles bonuses.

Good luck out there in June/July. You'll be amazed how hot that dry heat really is.

Good point, that's exactly what I did now that I think about it. Orbitz had Continental flights for around 7 bucks more than Continental.com. Was going to book that way but they filled.

You should be able to get a good rate to Phx in July if you wait a bit. Nobody wants to be in AZ then! I usually use Yahoo Travel, which I think is run by Travelocity. America West used to have a hub in Cols, but I don't think it does anymore. That made for cheap flights between those cities.

america west or southwest are going to be your best bet to phx... just go to their websites and see which one is cheaper... they will be cheaper than any of the "search" sites (because the search sites look for Delta, United, American, etc.)...
