Game Thread Oregon State @ Ohio State - 09/01/18, 12:00PM (ABC)

Missing Tuf and Fuller today really hurt the D. Hopefully they will both be back in time for TCU.
Starting DL and Werner impressed today.
Haskins was everything we thought he would be.
Webber showed that he is second to nobody in the backfield.
Really pleased with the OL. Gave up zero sacks and opened holes for the RBs. With Haskins decisiveness and quick release I don't suspect they will give up many sacks this year.
Berry showed that he can be a receiving threat at TE.
Crisman is a weapon.
46 point victory works

Overall great.
1. Weber was amazing and Dobbins will have his time. How about the RB blocking on the pop passes?

2. The play calling was the best I've seen since 2014 MSU. playaction, end arounds, power, and the seams it was all there. Not a ton down fiels but thatll come.

3. Offensive line was great. Huge holes, great pass pro and was as advertised.

4. Bosa/Jones/Werner on defense were unstoppable

5. The WR play was out standing both blocking and making plays.

6. Texas snitch Herman lost

THE GOOD...

1. LB play overall was good

2. DL Overall was disruptive

3. Sheffield/Arnette I thought were great

4. No injuries

5. A lot of people got reps today

THE BAD...

1. What were Okudah/Wint doing?

2. Big plays on defense is just not acceptable. Allowing 7 plays over 15 yards is straight up not acceptable. Especially against someone like OSU.

3. We really missed Fuller today. How we are playing Wint is a little curious to me. He took poor angles and just looked lost.

Overall the offense was unstoppable and the defense was just completely hit or miss. I'm surprised we didn't show better on Defense but I think rotating players/having injuries really set us back.

Worst game day ever.

1) The cart with the pulled pork nachos and pico was closed.

2) I’ve got the worst case of raccoon eyes I’ve ever had. Once the sun broke through it was oppressive. Even my knees are sunburnt.

3) Got soaked in the deluge at halftime and I’m pretty sure my brand new 2018 fly wires are ruined.

4) Had to drop the tots off with the in-laws in Grove City so I couldn’t even have a beer.

5) Urban Meyer was edited completely out of the 2014 highlight video that was shown during warm-ups.

At least the Buckeyes hung 77 on ‘em.

Favorite part was the roar of boos for the photo of Tom Herman, and the crowd cheering every time the PA announcer read scores from around the country and the fans realized Maryland had scored again.

It’s so true. Not trying to be a Denny downer here but I must say that life has it’s rewards and it’s punishments. So far I feel lucky that life is swinging in my favor after the dreaded tumor was removed. Happy to be a Buckeye Fan. I’ll be even happier when the doctor says I’m cancer free. Life is good but winning isn’t always an Oregon State game! Go Bucks.
