Orlando +7.5 at Cavs - Game 5

They might actually cover the 7.5 spread that seemed so high.

Them Vegas boyz know how to tease, don't they?:smash:

It's amazing what kind of spreads they put on the table some times, and there's NO way in Hell I would have given 7.5 tonite, but it almost made perfect sense to do so, based on them SOB's history.

Great win tonite, 2 more 2 Go!!!

GO CAVS!!!!!!!!!!!

Peace.

The guys that did the video mocking Cleveland did one that mocks the TNT basketball guys - it was pretty funny,

'Kenny owes his career to Olajuwon'.

'Charles never won an NBA Championship', and they showeed him with a huge gut and said that being from Alabama was worse than Cleveland, or something close to those words. That's worth finding on youtube tomorrow.

Might have just been my imagination, but I believe that clip with Sir Charles where they mention 'never winning a championship' also featured Chris Webber.

Just searched for Charles Barkley and Chris Webber and got this

may have been the clip they used.

Just got back from Cleveland, I have to be at work in 6 hours.. I'm pumped.

The seats were amazing. Section 111 Row 2, I was not 15 feet from Barkley. Grady Sizemore walked 5 feet in front of me and I didnt even recognize him at first... he really blends in, nice guy though.

Brady was there, Shaun Rodgers, Jay-Z, Joe Thomas and Cribbs. All applause.

Then Jeter and Toothlessburger were there, resounding boo's that made my heart just warm.

Incredible crowd, great game. When Lebron made that last and/one the place went nuts.

The tickets my friend bought were $170 face value, usually around $300 for this type of game. He got them $150 on the Cavs site - godsend.

I really dont have much to say other than game 7 is in Cleveland on Monday, Go Cavs!

P.S.

between my friend and myself we made 3 signs.

I did my Team Ohio and Give Florida...

He made a sign that read "It aint over til Van Gundy Sings" - which I"m pretty confident he saw because we were sitting directly across from the magic bench waving them like mad men.

Charles thinks Cleveland is "TURRRIBLE".

They covered since Lewis missed that last 3 - frickin' Vegas calls 'em close.

That was the only 1 of 10 vBets that I lost on this game.

You just didn't have faith in the Cavs, I did and was awarded nicely!

I missed two bets, the halftime spread (seriously cavs... you couldn't wait to the 3rd quarter like you normaly do to lose that huge lead?)

And Andy getting over 7.5 rebounds, he hasn't been close all series cuz he has been guarding the 3 pt line, and somehow he grabs 8 rebounds tonight? Luckily those were the small bets. The big bets paid off, especially the triple double bet.

BK = kiss of death. I'll have to recoup that $1M by betting on Orlando again for tomorrow night.

BTW what happened to DWest the announcers have not said anything and you can tell he was hurting while out there...

Delonte West has hip pointer. Will be re-evaluated on Friday.

I swear, I don't get "tweets"...it was just the first link to pop up when I searched "Delonte West hip pointer".....

The Cavs must start winning the fourth quarter. In the first four games, they've lost the fourth quarter by 5, 5, 5, and 1 points, respectively. The Magic's inability to win the fourth quarter is why they had so much trouble closing out the Celtics.

Finally. The Cavs go +11 last night in the 4th quarter. No coincidence that they won going away.

Finally they are working thru the screens, getting over top of them...Forcing Orlando into tougher shots...

Then on offense with getting the ball to LBJ right at the foul line...That is what the Bulls did with Jordan, and what the Heat and Celtics do alot with Wade and Pierce...Doesn't waste as much energy...allows us to work the clock and then give him a little rest...

BTW what happened to DWest the announcers have not said anything and you can tell he was hurting while out there...

Now the rims get a little tighther in Orlando for the Magic...We have to make sure to take our jump shots to Orlando...

We are still in this [censored] fellas!!!!

The Bulls did that with Jordan? Every play? No they didn't.
That's the worst offensive set possibly ever. Every play......

I agree that the defense was much better.

Yeah, it worked well last night.
You're not going to win a championship like that.
Its far from being the worst set ever though. I would argue that is a set that we could build around, add some screens and plays around it and you have a very good crunch time play. Especially considering the other plays when LBJ starts with the ball 5 feet behind three point line and he pulls up for three sometimes, which is great when he is unconscious. But this play starts out with immediate pressure on the defense. I think that is not such a bad thing.

You can get into this play by simple pass entry or pick and roll to take advantage of switching mismatches. I like this play down the stretch.
