Does anyone know of any "official" gamewatch locations for the Ft. Wayne area alumni club (they don't seem to have a website)? Even with a nice, big TV, I still enjoy watching a few games with a big group of Buckeyes. The B-Dubs off I-469 and Maysville seemed packed with a lot of OSU gear when I watched the '06 championship game there, but would like to be sure.

Here's the link to the Alumni Club info for Indiana. Fort Wayne is about half-way down. I'd call or email the contact for the best info if I were you.

The closest location is probably the one in Huntsville... the Huntsville alumni watch the games at Charley's Wing Shak in Madison, AL. The location is on County Line Road.

I'm in Huntsville, but too far away from that location.

Thanks! Appreciate it. I'm heading back to Ohio tomorrow, but I wanted to prove to someone that Buckeyes gather to watch games even in Alabama. I've been dying to get an 'I-O!' here, but all I can get is 'Roll Tide!' --

The looks I've been getting for walking around in Bucks gear and shouting 'O-H!' have been pretty funny. I'm still alive so far.

ALOHA, BUCKEYES!!

First, thanks to all of you who turned out for the first game. We had a great group! Most of all, your patience and good spirits were appreciated as we dealt with a situation at ESG that was not like what we were used to. It seems the new owners don't have the same commitment to Buckeye football as Robbie did. That said, we wanted to give them a chance, but based on all your feedback - and what we experienced last week - it's time to move on to a new location. WE HAVE FOUND A GREAT, NEW PLACE!!!!

Right after the game Saturday, Mike, James Deemer and I checked out the brand-new (2 weeks old) Shack in Waikiki. Here's their website:
The Shack Waikiki Sports Bar and Grill is Now Open!

And the good news is they are ready, willing and able to welcome us with open arms!!! The Shack Waikiki is located in the Waikiki Trade Center on Kuhio Avenue (see the website for details). Parking is in the Trade Center garage that you enter on Seaside (take Kalakaua then turn left on Seaside). The parking structure is located just past the old Imax theater. The Shack will validate parking (with purchase) so your cost is $3.

The management has also said they will put together a breakfast buffet especially for us. On the buffet are fried rice, white rice, bacon, portuguese sausage, eggs & toast. The cost is $10 (plus tip) and that includes coffee. Of course, you can see from their drink menu that there are lots of other drink options should you desire more of an eye-opener - Buckeyes have been known to require such things ;-) In fact, Chris & Brendan (Managers) are giving us a special price on Bloody Marys & Screwdrivers of $3.50. For kids 10 years old and under the buffet cost is $5.

Saturday's game with OU is a 6:00 am local start time. Chris & Brendan assured me they will be there at 5:30. Our spot will be in front of the big stage at the far end of the restaurant. LET'S HAVE A GREAT TURN-OUT FOR THIS GAME AND LET OUR NEW HOSTS KNOW HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE THEM!!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!

P.S. If you are in Waikiki this week stop in and say aloha to our new home :-)

Hopefully they do basketball games too. I plan to be there tomorrow for the OSU - MSU game.

I'm getting excited for the start of the new season! Are there any fans in Zurich, Switzerland to watch games with? I really have no idea how I'm going to watch the games this year.

:osu:
Welcome to BP! As someone who was watching last year from Chennai, India, I'll tell you one thing. It is difficult catching games outside the US of A. However, if you look in the individual game threads, and post there, I am sure someone will come up with links to live streams of ongoing or future games. That is what happened last year. I remember Ukraine_Buck posting something along those lines. Be polite, and people will definitely help you!
