OSU Alumni Club Game Watch Locations

Going to be in Chicago for TCU game. Will be at the Cubs game in afternoon, so will be in Wrigleyville. Any thoughts on a good place for dinner so can watch the game with tOSU 'friends'? Or should we just grab a quick meal and head back to hotel? Having said that, hotel is in Lakeview, so is there a gathering in that area or town?

Thanks in advance,
Cali

Great Cubs game, except their victim was the Reds......great atmosphere around Wrigley, they block off the streets in all directions, Clark Street for 5-6 blocks south. More bars per square foot on Clark St than ever seen. Many B10 flags strung up on the bars, Old Crow BBQ one of them, with tOSU flags around the big screen TV. Still, mostly Cubbie shirts there, not too many Buckeye Faithful. Had a nice conversation with a business owner in Chicago, emigrated from Hudson Ohio, but too loud, few seats, and no sound on tv. Ended up going back to hotel, ordering deep dish, and watching in room.

That's two checks off the bucket list, and got to see a very good win by the young Bucks. Most of my impressions of teh game have already been expressed in the TCU game blurb. Thanks for pointing me in that direction Wood, nice to experience how Chicago does it (and they do it well). Go Bucks!

Tonight's game will be my first in lovely suburban Chicago, as I have newly relocated. Is there a Buckeye spot near Elmhurst? I'm afraid traffic would be brutal to and from Old Crow Smokehouse and PT doesn't run after 9pm.

BW3 in Warrenville on Diehl Rd used to be a spot for catching games with other Buckeyes. It’s been a long time since I’ve been down there for a game.

You’re in Elmhurst? I’m a couple to your left and down one over in Wheaton. Welcome to the burbs. Oh, and ask your neighbors when to expect the cicadas. Never have I seen cicadas like I’ve seen them in Elmhurst. Good news tho, I think you have six years before the next round.

I know there are some BP members in Colorado. Are there any in Colorado Springs? I will be at The Summit (near Great Wolf) around 9:30 am on Saturday to start the festivities. First round is on me.

I'm too far north to join you. I usually trek down to the Denver area to watch The Game w/ some college buddies, but I'm not making the trip this year. Hope to take in a Buckeye win on my couch. :lift:

Going to be in Rome for the Wiscy game.....Anyone know where it might be televised (Buckeyes are everywhere!) in Rome? Realize it's a big city, but if it's within a 20E ride, I'm in. I'll figure out the time equivalent when I'm there......go Bucks! It will be our biggest test to date. And Wiscy still wants revenge for the 2014 59-0 drubbing......

Thanks JCO, had some 'intermittent' wifi on ship, but were at sea for most of the game :(…..however, got some LR feedback on the game. Appreciate your time and trouble. PS, Western Med was incredible. Stateroom was in front of ship, so 'helped' the captain dock the boat every day.....lol. Go Bucks! Great win. On to the Natty! One game at a time.

Anyone have an idea for where to watch the game in Jacksonville? I'll be in the area, getting in around 6:30 and need to find a place to watch the game. I see the office game-watch is WhiskyJax, but I imagine getting there 1-1.5 hours before the game I won't be able to get a seat. Recommendations for a friendly spot would be appreciated.
