OSU Alumni Club Game Watch Locations

i suppose i could go to ocean beach and hope one of the bars on newport has the game on. but it would be nice to know of a place i could count on.

and for the third time in as many posts, i'll say i'm aware of moondoggies but don't want to go there because it is too crowded and you can't get a seat unless you arrive way early.

thanks anyway. :)

Mmmmm! Sally's Pizza! Have some for me, sepia!

Sally's Apizza is pretty darn good, but I prefer Pepe's myself. New Haven pizza has even NYC beaten, IMO. The tiebreaker for selecting our apartment here was that it is right down the street from Little Italy.

Hello All,

My name is Jason Sobota the new owner of Deckerz Bar and Grille on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, SC. We just moved down here a little over a year ago from Columbus, Ohio. My wife and I are both Ohio State alumni and are looking for buckeye support. We have come across a few Ohio State fans in our area, but we need more.

Deckerz is scarlet and grey, and the first thing you see when you walk in is the Ohio State Flag. We have large flat screen televisions on every wall, and will be cheering on our Buckeyes January 7. We need every Buckeye in the area to join us at Deckerz, your new Ohio State Bar and Grille.

:osu: Go Bucks!

For those looking to watch games in Europe (including UK): games which air on ESPN can sometimes get shown on a channel called NASN (owned by ESPN and showing ESPN content), which gets carried by various satellite and cable companies depending on which country you're in. Not all ESPN games are aired: there is only one channel, so only one game can air in any given timeslot. Their website at http://www.nasn.com has the listings. The USC game will definitely be on, and The Game gets shown every year.

In the UK, it's part of the Setanta package, and in Germany, it's on Kabel Deutschland and Premiere Star. Most pubs in the UK have Setanta (and therefore NASN) because it carries a lot of Premier League soccer, so if you just go in and ask them to put the game on they should oblige unless there's something else on which a load of other people are watching.

If it's a game shown on the Big Ten Network, then we get largely screwed, and have to rely on the charity of some kind Ohio soul to stream it. Go to http://www.myp2p.eu on the day of the game and hope that your luck is in. I found a pretty good stream for the YSU game today. It's also worth trying the forum on that site because sometimes streams are listed which aren't on the main site. The quality ain't great, but it's probably the only way you're going to see the game unless you're in the military.

Hope the above is helpful. If you've any questions do ask and I'll do my best to help out.
