"Greed Is Good"
has anyone ever attempted to catch a flight directly after a football game? I know traffic around campus is bad, however I’m not sure it would take longer than an hour to get to CMH. Thoughts?

I'll say it will depend on 2 things:

1. When everybody starts to leave the stadium. If the game is close and everyone waits and leaves at once after the game is actually over it can get more hectic.

2. Parking, i.e. how far you park from the stadium and how long it takes you to get out of the lot/garage.

Once you get away from the campus area it is only about 15 to 20 minutes to the airport. I suggest parking on the east side with a definite route to I-71 south then connecting to I-670 east. The best spot to park would be in the stadium lot, quickly get to your car, exit on Woodruff to High St, right (south) on High, etc. However, that lot requires a special pass and is not open to the general public.

Just sayin": I live very close to the airport, I park in the garage beside (closest to) the student union (enter off of College Rd), exit the garage and go south on High St*, lately I've been going south on High St. and turning left on Fifth Ave., continue to you get to the I-71 ramp, etc. You could Google map it.

* High St has some construction and a closed lane past 11th. I know which lane I want to be in to more easily get through it, however, you might want to turn left at 11th, which also connects with I-71 south.

Anyway, I usually get home in under an hour.
