I looked at ASU, Indiana (beautiful campus), and OU last year.. some schools my buddies are at that they like: Purdue, Marshall, Kentucky, and South Carolina (heard its a real nice campus) all sound like fun.. and Purdue MU and UK arn't too far either

UNC, Duke, Stanford, UVA (although their sports can be up and down), Wake, Cal, UCLA (if I had visited this campus while in highschool, I would have attended without a doubt)...

Maybe I'm mistaken but the guy who started this thread wanted colleges with good education programs and some of those you listed aren't known for their education programs.

That's why I mentioned Michigan St., they have a fairly well known education program.

Again, maybe he meant college known for being strong academically while having good sports but I'm not sure.

Strong academics in what program of study?
Do you want a job out of school? Do you want good pay? What are your interests?

Once you graduate form college the school you went to has less and less bearing on your future, unless you are a Harvard, Stanford or Yale grad. Of course if you go to tOSU and live in Columbus I would hope the Alumni can help in future job opportunities.
