Out-Of-State Players To Watch

'14 IA WR Allen Lazard

Rivals - Bucks ready for a huge visit weekend

10/5

Expected to visit for the Nebraska game...

The junior star power does not stop there, however, as one of the Midwest's top junior wide receivers, Urbandale (Iowa) product Allen Lazard is also expected to make the trip. Lazard holds early offers from Iowa, Iowa State, and Nebraska and an offer from the Buckeyes this weekend wouldn't be a surprise.

Rafael Gaglianone

Brazilian kicker getting big-time interest
October, 26, 2012
By Dave Hooker | ESPN.com

Rafael Gaglianone didn't come to the United States to be a big-time college football prospect.

"I came out here just to go abroad and study," the native Brazilian said. "It turned out I have the potential to kick, so I started."

With a soccer background, Gaglianone is now a place-kicking prospect. The kicker from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor has seen recent interest from several big-name schools, namely LSU, Duke, BYU and Ohio State.

"They want me to go down there to a camp," Gaglianone said of the Buckeyes. "I've already visited a game."

'14 NJ WR Noah Brown

http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/colleges/osu/post?id=4875
OSU-Michigan is Noah Brown's first visit

Junior Noah Brown (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII) has spent the season split between receiver and running back, but he?s excelled at both, registering 21 touchdowns and 1,300 yards from scrimmage.

?I think I had a pretty productive junior season,? said Brown, who helped his team to a league championship and a No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

The playoffs begin this weekend, but there is a built-in bye the second week of the playoffs in New Jersey, as several programs play an annual rivalry game on Thanksgiving. Pope John XXIII is one of the schools that does not play on Thanksgiving, however, and that has afforded Brown the opportunity to make his first gameday visit.

ESPN - Ohio State gives Nile Sykes chills on visit

11/24

Ohio State is looking at several prospects from the Chicago area, and 2014 defensive end/linebacker Nile Sykes (Oak Park, Ill/Oak Park-River Forest) is among them.

Sykes made it to Ohio State for a visit Saturday for the game against Michigan.

"It was awesome. Both teams played hard and Ohio State really showed their dominance throughout all the game," Sykes said.
