In particular, Meyer and the general feel of the Buckeyes program caught Williams’ attention.

“The program, the school itself and how Coach Meyer described his way of helping the athletes other than just a degree,” Williams said of what he took away from the visit. “(Meyer) was super cool and super smart. He treats his athletes like they are his own (kids).

“I liked Ohio State a lot. I envisioned it to look different, but it exceeded my expectations.”
