Outside the Lines Preview on SportsCenter

Outside the Lines is on right now. All they are talking about is the Clarett fiasco. I left the room. ESPN is total bullshit. Why dont they go cover Willie Williams from Cryiami, and all his court cases. For some reason they have a huge hard on for Ohio State. They need to get off of it, and start covering other things. Clarett hasnt played college football for almost 3 years and there still trying to get shit from him. Get over it, cover the Florida State and NC State or something.

Or how about they cover why when Georgias basketball program got hit with infractions, that some of the classes that grades were being handed to atheltes in, not only had basketball players but 13 football players too.

Or how about Fat Phil Fulmer rolling over on Alabama, to save his own schools ass in the Tee Martin thing

Or how about Terry Bowden saying that Auburns players got paid while he was there, if it was happening then dont you think it would be happening now???

The answer is that ESPN has such a hard on for Coach Tressel and his "choir boy" type mentality(insert priest joke here), that they are unable to move past the notion that not every coach is a dirty jerk

tom friend was just on. waht a fucking liar.

his exact quote:

"all this stuff is out there. some are asking if clarett got paid and he didnt. Some people are even saying taht Tressel threated Clarett's mom, which she says never happened."

Friend was the one that brought it up in the first place on the Patrick radio show. what a total fuckwad.

Then he says the following "To NFL GM's it's all about maintaining credibility, and I don't think Clarett has done that yet."

Then why write the story ass-lick?

Just watched the piece and there is no "smoking gun". One thing that struck me is surrounding the issue of MoC not being forthcoming with the investigators. Everyone is saying that is a reason for the NCAA to possibly reopen the case. Maybe now that he is "talking" they will get what they need. My problem is this...the NCAA were the ones that said he violated Rule 10 17 times. Obviously they knew he was lying about things and yet still found no wrongdoing! How would they know he wasn't forthcoming or honest unless they found something to refute what he told them? There is nothing more to investigate.

Same shit, different story, though I was surprised to see that though Chris Vance didn't actually WITNESS anything, he supports MoCme "100%". Oh well, not like he didn't have his problems while he was here, either.
