Phil Jurkovec (QB Notre Dame, transfer to Boston College)

If they go for 2 QBs in 2017, I don't think there's any chance of landing him. Or any top top 2018 QB, for that matter. Not to say "OHHHHH, HEEE'S SCARREEEDDD!!!" But If I were a top QB who could go literally anywhere, it's not smart business to go somewhere that took two guys in the class ahead of me.

So I won't give my source out but I will say I'm "close" to the situation. I rarely if ever have made bold predictions of any recruit at any time on this site, I think once before actually and it was a mid level Ohio guy that I had connections to. Anyway, I'll just say I'm closer to the situation than any recruiting guru is. That is just a simple fact.

Now, if he told Steve something different, ok. But as I stand here today, unless someone can pull this family dynamic away from the Catholic Church, it isn't happening. If I hear differently I'll let you know. However, as it stands now let's just say there are greater heavenly forces at work here.

and I'll be the first to admit if I am wrong, but I honestly and truly believe all the other schools are fighting for second place. And the gap is WIDE.

If you read anything I said, this isn't a surprise. This was done before it started. Trust me. We had no chance. And neither did ANYONE else. Nothing to fret over as far as being out recruited or anything; some kids just want to go a certain place and some families reallllly want their kid to go a certain place. Good luck to him.

Can't be too upset when the kid & his family are dead-set on going somewhere else. Best of luck to him in South Bend.

If tOSU can snag Emory Jones, I don't think any Ohio State fan will be looking at this as a loss...
