PA S Andrew Pryts (Stanford Signee)

Brian Dohn came out and reported (accurately if you listened to the interview with no context) that Andrew was done taking visits. What he meant to say is he is done taking visits after he visits Columbus for FNL.

Tom Loy disagrees and says a return trip to ND could still be in the works but at this point Pryts says he is done taking summer visits after FNL.

I'm guessing Birm mentioned this but Andrew visited OSU earlier in the week with his mom instead of coming to FNL. Probably for the better considering he was able to get more one-on-one time with the staff. Loy is adamant that Andrew will still take a visit to ND this summer before a decision comes. Guess we'll see...

Wave of PSU crystal ball picks coming in now. Disappointing because I saw him having great flexibility as either a safety or potentially a second LB in this class. Jordan Fuller has always been at the top of my safety board but I was hoping to see Pryts go with him. Staff will still chase Hamlin and Fuller hard.

At least if he ends up at PSU it means Tom Loy was wrong. ND still trying to get him back to South Bend before a decision.

is the wave because of the visit or is there information coming out from that visit. I know he's legacy and those are tough to pull.

I wasn't much of a fan of him at S. Not trying to knock him because now he's favored to PSU, but I always saw him as a better LB and not athletic enough to be a S in our defense. Best of luck to him in wherever he ends up. And if he were still to end up as a Buckeye I'd be all for him being in this class, but that's just my opinion on his best position

It would def be a downer to lose him to PSU. I still see him as a safety. Love his instincts and the angles he takes to get to the ball carrier... and his intentions when he reaches him. Haven't had a pure hitter like that in the d-backfield in a little while, though I think Vonn Bell is going to blow some people up this year.

I wouldn't get so down just yet. These crystal ball predictions and what not are mostly based on assumptions not evidence. His father played at PSU and so he made another visit, and it's not exactly a long trip. He didn't commit there (at least publicly). That has always been the case, and he had still been considered an OSU lean. I'm feeling OSU still, Urban > Franklin.
