Pac-12 (official thread)

Taiwanese animators offer take on Utah fumble returned for Oregon TD

You know something has hit it big when the talented Taiwanese animators feel a need to offer their take on the story. This animated package of highlights has a little bit of everything to offer, from Marcus Mariota flying to the field riding an Oregon Duck, to Utah players popping champagne bottles on the field to a Flying V fumble return.

Report: Pac-12 pushing to get DirecTV deal done before football season

The Big Ten is printing money with the Big Ten Network. The SEC Network celebrated a wildly successful first year on the air. Meanwhile, the Pac-12 Network continues to fight an uphill battle compared to its power conference brethren. Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott has continued to promote the Pac-12 Networks, but accessibility issues continue to plague around Pac-12 states and fans are right to be frustrated. Could this all be solved before the start of the new college football season? If not, it will not be for a lack of trying.

We’re trying to uncover this and I’m sure most of the Pac-12 is trying to uncover this. So the Pac-12 poll on satellite camps was 11, 11 in favor. Eleven in favor of satellite camps. One abstention. How that unfolds into a vote against satellite camps, I can’t imagine. I can’t possibly imagine. I mean it’s unfathomable. I don’t know if somehow the rule was written in a double negative and a mistake was made. I don’t know.

If 11 are in favor of something and all of a sudden it’s voted against, something’s wrong. I mean, could be an innocent mistake, but something’s completely wrong. Because our room, when it comes to voting on it, the least I’ve seen is eight. And then I heard when it went forward, it’s 11 with one abstention and we come away as having voted against it. And that needs to be changed and our vote needs to be changed and that needs to reflect the will of the schools in our conference.

UCLA's AD has some splainin' to do.
