Well, I will take the W and the team showed a lot of grit to somehow pull that off with Young and Walker fouled out with about 5 minutes left to play. Haven't read back through the thread, so I am sure I am going to be repeating what many said...I about pulled my fucking hair out on turnovers. Incredibly sloppy and careless with the ball, its been an issue all year but tonight was ridiculous. Washington is particular makes me angry, he legit seems like he doesn't give a shit about turning the ball over and I seriously don't know if the 3 pointers here and there make up for the rest of his flaws and mental errors. Need to get Ahrens more shots than we did and find ways to get him open. Gutsy performance from Liddell at the end, big shout out.

Also, goddamn the refs couldn't put the whistle away this game. I think 70% of the fouls they called were fouls but some they just needed to let them play...got our key guys in such early foul trouble that when they came back they couldn't even attempt to play defense because they knew the refs were just dying to blow the whistle and foul them out. I get so sick of games where the refs feel the need to take it over.

Anyways, glad we got the win because I couldn't stand another bad loss like NW or Purdue...well really, this would have been much worse imo, despite PSU playing out of their minds and way above their ability like they seem to always do against us.

The 1990's final four team lost the championship because of piss-poor free throw shooting. 20 of 21 would have won it for them.

The NET is so worthless.

Ohio State was #17 before the game......#17 after

This one is even better Penn State was #39 before the game....they lose and move up to #36..........

What the ? 5-7 Penn State #36 is stupid to start with but they move up 3 spots with a loss.

Oh and 5-1 Colgate is #11 in the NET......enough said.
