As always, it is a sight to behold whenever the Pedsters venture out of the protective hive that is BWI. The Pedsters have on a thread on BWI currently in which they whine about what a terrible fanbase Iowa has because the Hawkeye fans were mean to them about the scandal.

But the real entertainment comes when some Pedsters venture over to the Iowa board to share some FAX and EVIDENTS about what NCAA violations were committed during the institutional cover up of child rape by everyone from the football coach to the President of the University. The Pedsters share some FAX and EVIDENTS on the Iowa board that the Board of Trustees lacked a spine and that the NCAA database shows that PSU has never committed a violation.

Click bait. You should have wrote, with Penn State on the horizon, I thought I'd write a nice little piss post to draw Penn Staters in to defend the indefensible. Whatever. I FEEL Another BEATDOWN coming. Wrestling, football, agriculture..........we own you guys.........deal with it.

Our cow shit fields are the shit, yo!

This is why I will never take a Penn State fan seriously.

Liked this reply. The first paragraph really gets at the core of the outside-of-Happy-Valley universal disgust with the Pedsters--they haven't exhibited any of the qualities listed.

With every sin there must be contrition, sincere remorse, voluntary repentance, some sincere acknowledgement that one takes responsibility for harming others and that they know they were wrong and are truly sorry...you know Ranger Dan, before there is forgiveness. Yet, there also must be acceptance that regardless, some sins are never forgiven or at least never forgotten.

We understand the technicalities that you are claiming absolve your institution, your program, we are just not as quick to forgive and look past the sad and egregious transgressions as you would like us to.

By the way, Iowa isn't the only BIG Ten school with these beliefs.

many are still not past the "no blood, no rape" stage.

I'm still in the "what the hell was Paterno's name even doing on the conference championship trophy, in the first place?" stage. Go back to the beginning of the 2011 season, when I found out about the Stagg-Paterno trophy. I didn't know anything about the Sandusky situation. I probably didn't know who Sandusky was. But I couldn't get a satisfactory answer for why Paterno had his name on a trophy for Big Ten champions. The guy coached exactly 3 teams that won the Big Ten championship in about 18 years. By comparison, Jim Tressel coached 7 teams that won the Big Ten championship in 10 years. In all fairness, 2 of those 7 were shared with Penn State, when Penn State beat Ohio State. So say it's 5 for Tressel and 3 for Paterno. I'm not saying that Tressel's name SHOULD be on the trophy, but he did more to earn it than Paterno did. And I'd be willing to bet that there are others since 1993 who deserve it more, too.

Truth be told, it should be named for Delaney.

If you take into account where the program came from to what it has been for the past 25 years then you honestly have to put Alvarez's name in consideration.

Wisky was an absolute laughing stock forever before he took over.

I can't see the point of putting a living person's name on any trophy. Joeped being an excellent example of why not.

LOL. Reminds me of a story that when James Buster Douglas beat Tyson and the Mayor of Columbus was considering renaming the outer belt 'Buster Douglas Way' the Mayor of Cincinnati called and said something to the effect of 'you may want to reconsider that... we've got Pete Rose Way down here.'

I don't know if there's any truth to the story, but a lulz to be sure... especially since Douglas picked up a DUI on 270 a few years after it happened. Can you imagine that conversation? 'Do you know who I am? This road was named after me!'
