How many of our games at Penn State have been day or afternoon games? 2009 was an afternoon game. I don't remember 2012 - that may have started in the afternoon. But 2014, 2016, and 2018 were all night games. 2007, 2005 were each night games. WTF????

Anyone been to a game at Kinnick recently? Going to make a day trip from Chicago this year and debating how far in advance we should be looking for tickets or if scalping day of is the way to go. Whats the parking/tailgating situation like?

Not recently. Went 3 times in the 90’s. Worst fans ever.

Not anywhere near as bad as the “fans” in The Horse(shit)bowl in Columbus.

Been 2-3 times myself. Now, if they should ever get a whiff of a chance, you are going to see some extreme Aquavelva Aggy/New Jersey douchebaggery. Especially with the students who have a large component of Jersey Shore casting call in their overall population.

That said, they are currently happy with sticking around til mid 3rd quarter to see if they won the 50/50 raffle and/or hoping to hear the cannon go off.

Only ugliness I have seen there was, oddly enough, from some drunken tsun collar popping frat boys in 2017. True to DFBIA form, it was more toward the "I'm embarrassed for you" end of the spectrum. "Suckeyes" was used extensively as they were all fired up about their chances in The Game that year because it was in AA and some other nonsense.

I was at Iowa in 2017... their fans were fine. I nearly got trampled when they stormed the field but had no issues at all.
Parked on some guys lawn and a nice walk to the stadium.

Oddly enough.... so my brothers and I get tickets and split them up and take our kids. I never pick Penn State, because I don't want to subject my 10-year-old to those fans. I get it that Ohio State fans aren't necessarily the best, but it says a lot when it's THEIR fans in OUR stadium.
