Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

5. He's behind Osbourne, Bowden, Bryant, and Saban.

15) Tress
16) Woody
52) Coop
60) Earle

Other of note:

7) Dabo
29) Bo
42) Lloyd
48) Dantonio
71) B1G Permanent Coach of the Year Kirk Ferentz
98) RichRod
N/A: Harbaugh, Hoke
I love JT, but putting him ahead of Woody is madness. Yes, his accomplishments at YSU were extraordinary and he was elite at tOSU, but you can't compare what he did at YSU to what Woody did.

Agreed. It said coaches in the last 50 years, so perhaps they’re only considering the latter part of Woody’s career. I don’t care enough to investigate the criteria for some ESPN clickbait, though.

Didn't they rank him #47 in 2019?
Something like that, though I don't remember the details. They must have been blown away by his year as a studio analyst.

But, it is hilarious that TTUN's second best coach on the list is much closer to Coop than he is to Ohio State's third best coach.

I don't know what the criteria are either. I didn't actually click the link, I found the list posted by someone on Reddit.

It's from a book that just came out. It was written by an espn guy whose name I can't recall.

I just realized that the Big Ten is being very unfair in favor of Penn State.
Since and including 2010, and including 2021 (12 seasons), the Big Ten has scheduled Penn State to play 48 home games and only 40 away games, excluding the conference opener each year.

I swear, if they can't find a reason to be insulted or offended, they aren't looking hard enough.

Let me say it again, only different. Since the Jerry Sandusky scandal broke, PedSU has had to open on the road 8 out of the last 9 years. Take the hint, assholes.....

Watch your corn hole bud. Bo and Joe could see you getting ass raped by the Mongol horde over there on the other side and they won’t send for help, Tucks pads or nothin’.
