Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

You don't think Emmert got wind of that statement at the time, and now Lubrano and McCombie are filing nuisance appeals and threatening to pull the ncaa into a legal battle.

I find it very interesting that the ncaa hasn't quickly swatted down these two idiots' appeal as they did with the Paternos. My hunch is that something is going on behind the scenes. Something perhaps along the lines of organizing a conference call with the 18 ncaa directors.

Just because they haven't reported it in the news, doesn't mean Emmert hasn't already told him that it ain't going to happen.

Here's where I'm getting mixed up at guys:

By this definition, I'm seeing that the Board president should be signing this document (Peetz) unless she gave....AHHHHHHHHHHH

So, you guys are saying she probably gave permission to Erickson to sign the document on behalf of the trustees? If so, that's pretty ballsy too.

Does it matter who had the authority to do what at Penn State? That's an issue for PSU to have worked out BEFORE discussing sanctions with the NCAA. Look at it from the NCAA viewpoint. I believe they deal with the president or chancellor of the university and any signature agreeing to the sanctions is considered valid. If someone else in authority at Penn State tries to appeal the sanctions then the NCAA should determine if the institution as a whole is violating rules by their action - ethical behavior, in control. It's ridiculous that a BOT member is filing as an individual and not as a representative of the school. What the NCAA sees is that a member of the BOT is filing an appeal.

Different from the RoBOT's appeal. http://www.centredaily.com/2012/08/07/3290516/former-penn-state-players-also.html

Is there a third one?

"Meaning no disrespect to the victims of abuse, these findings are unfair and they are wrong."

This quote sums it up...Pretty much saying sorry you were raped, but Penn State had no part of it. Yeah okay...who are these clowns anyways? I didn't recognize one name, but I also don't follow these shitheads closely either
