Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Thought I'd see what Ped State fan is saying about the fight.

Instead, I stumbled upon this. This has to be the most sickening response I've yet seen to the charges.

I honestly suggest people read this thread, so they can get a true grasp for how unhinged and debased that fanbase is and how the whole sick cult of Paterno has turned them into heartless sick bastards.

He said he heard SLAPPING SOUND = rapid violent contact. Most likely he heard the sound of towels snapping.

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

People keep saying we can't afford to leave the B1G. Truth be told, the B1G can't afford to have Penn State leave. If PSU tells the B1G to fvck themselves, that takes PA, NY, NJ, MD and DC out of their viewing footprint. What other school leaving the B1G would create such a viewership hole? Name one... I'm waiting....

Bottom line, any conference would KILL to have PSU and those major markets in their viewing footprint. Hell, the ACC could kick out Pitt, Cuse, and MD and add PSU and every team would make more $$$ since there would be 3 fewer teams to split the pot with. I don't want to sound snobby, but I'm SICK of everyone talking schit about us. The current situation is what it is.

But I'm sick of being a 2nd class citizen in this conference. The FACT of the matter is, if Penn State stays in the B1G, they should all kiss our asses and thank us. Yes, especially UM and OSU!!!
The B1G is now about the BTN and the $$ they can drive from their own network. And bottom line, look at the markets that each school carries. OSU carries Ohio. UM carries MI, but so does MSU. What other states do OSU and UM carry? Name them! To the clown that said OSU and UM have alumni in DC and MD and NY... WTF Ever! A few alumni in certain geographic locations does NOT get the B1G on the basic cable package. PSU DOES get the B1G on basic cable package in those markets. FACT- PSU is the most valuable school to the BTN, and ain't nothing your sorry as schools in the middle of the footprint can change about this. Get use to it, and start puckering up... because OSU and UM are yesterdays $$$ source for the B1G.

The amount of ego that these fucktards have is amazing. The comment about the graduation rates made me laugh, since OSU has a better APR in the B1G than Ped State.

I hope the B1G boots them, and they go back to being independent and totally irrelevant.

I don't. In the Big Ten, they're irrelevant. As an independent, they go back to playing 8 games at home with only one or two tough tests all season long and have parents of players ref important games (seriously! JoePa used to have the dad of one of his players ref home games in the 80s) and scam their way back onto the national stage.

In the Big Ten, their throats remain firmly under the heel of our hobnailed boot.

Admit that it would be pretty funny if we booted them and the ACC wouldn't take them.

What if you don't have a quarterback for the bowl game.....

1) McGloin hasn't been cleared to practice and could miss the Jan. 2 game against Houston. Penn State interim coach Tom Bradley said both McGloin and Drake face internal discipline.

2) Backup Rob Bolden has been working with the starting offense in practice since the fight, although he also faces internal discipline for an incident Friday. Bolden was cited for retail theft for taking a Gatorade bottle from a campus convenience store. Note: Bolden returned the bottle unopened in what Bradley described as a prank. Bradley said Bolden will be disciplined internally but won't face any playing-time penalties.

3) Another Nittany Lions quarterback, Paul Jones, could be available for the bowl if he's cleared academically. Jones' grades have kept him sidelined this season.

You can play in the bowl if you were academically ineligible during the season? Never knew that.

Once the Fall quarter ends (end of regular season), it's a new ball game.

It's reverse of what happened to Duron, IIRC. Wasn't he eligible during the season, and then ruled ineligible for the Rose Bowl?
