Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Penn State is in the Ticket City Bowl game - but now their QB McGloin is doubtful.
Because he fought a receiver in the locker-room and came up on the wrong end of things (hit his head on the concrete).

Don't worry though - the true culprits will be found - Penn State has their best men looking into the fight.

Answer me this, McMoxie...how are you to "walk away" from something you yourself started?

You know your QB has the respect of the locker room when a WR kicks his ass and no one steps in to stop it. Moxie!

So....we can expect a result in nine years when outside law enforcement gets involved?

I heard that shit again this morning at work (in PA). It seems they said it to each other often enough that they actually believe it. I tried to question it logically but it wasn't getting through.
I was visiting my parents when Urban got hired. Before it was announced but it was pretty likely that we were getting him, I overheard my dad having a conversation with one of the local yokel's. My dad was working with the assumption that we were probably going to get Urban and how that was going to be an improvement on this year......the guy says "Now I don't think you're going to get Urban Meyer. I'm pretty sure he's going to be Penn State's next coach." It was either the day before or the day he was announced as the coach.

Nobody expects ... a rush to judgement

BTW - did I mention that backup QB Bolden has his own issues - Gatorade, anyone? Free, free Gatorade?

Robert Bolden started the first seven games of the season and split time with McGloin before McGloin saw most the snaps in the final three games of the season. He could be in line to see significant action if McGloin is ruled out.
Bolden practiced Monday after being cited for retail theft in the Pollock Dining Commons.
Bradley said Bolden was part of a "prank that went awry" and that the "Two dollar bottle of Gatorade" was taken care of. He will face internal discipline measures.
High and fucking mighty they should not be ...

:slappy: Sure, they had an iconic coach in JoePa.. But what makes them think they have the program prestige to go after THE #1 coaching possibility this year? Delusional fans... :shake:

Come on, guys. Bolden nabbed a bottle of Gatorade as a prank. It's not like he did anything seriously criminal.

Of course, it's also not like he's a competent quarterback.

So where's the part of the prank that's actually supposed to be funny? You have Penn State fans complaining about the Tattoo fiasco, calling us cheaters because of it. Yet, their own player is stealing a $2 bottle of Gatorade...

God damn cheaters. Quinching their thirst for free and shit.

So here's what chaps my ass... a team like Houston gets into a bowl game about two echelons above where they belong and they get a Penn State team that's falling apart and it's off-to-the-races time - hey if they beat Penn State they belong in the BCS NCG.

I have no problem with this bowl. I think it's about right for Houston this year, and if either of these teams deserves a crappier bowl, it is Ped State.

It's true Max - if they can't get free and shoes in the same sentence then they aren't doing it right.

NotreDameChief and his orange creme margarita comment is now off the hook for the "gayest comment from a man on a sports message board" title.

For cramming supreme gayness AND homophobia (of a sort) into the same post, this year's Nobel Prize for Interweb Bodacity goes to...
