Did I offend a large group of people again? Damn.

Hopefully they accept my standard "I have a ___ friend" line and heartfelt apology.

I was referring to ps85, but I think both of our posts offended the same group and the misunderstanding gave you another opportunity so it's all good.

I figured if I opened my mouth long enough someone would be offended.

Cultish infatuation with the leader's footware choice. Coincidence? I think not.

Ok, Ok, it's Christmas time...

I still think adding Penn State was the right move. The conference and the school have benefitted.

Academically, Penn State's programs have grown in quality and added to the overall academic strength of the conference. That helps both.

TV wise they have given the conference an entr?e to the East-of-Pittsburgh market that includes Philly and DC. Having been posted in DC prior to 1990 I can tell you that the TV and papers greatly expanded ALL Big 10 coverage once Penn State was a member. That's a huge market that Notre Dame, the ACC and Big East once owned all to themselves. No longer.

Football wise they give the conference a third 100K+ stadium, a well established history and a fan base that will go anywhere to watch their team play, i.e. given a choice between a PSU at 7 & 5 and a Pitt/Rutgers/Cincinnati/UConn/Syracuse/Wake Forest at 9 & 3 the bowl folks will pick PSU. That adds money to the Big 10/Ohio State coffers.

I can't/won't/wouldn't equate Tattoos to child molesting, but I think it's noteworthy that both schools lost revered coaches because the coaches failed to follow SOPs when confronted with issues that were problematic for the program and the school. Both schools are paying, and will continue to pay, for that lapse in judgment.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's take the PSU coaching search. In brief, they reached out Pellini and he said no. No one else of note is interested and they are in some deep (Mark May).

How would you like to recruit at PSU? You take kids on a tour of the facilities and they will be wondering if this is the shower where Jerry Sandusky did his thing. It's like trying to rent Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment.

So where's the part of the prank that's actually supposed to be funny? You have Penn State fans complaining about the Tattoo fiasco, calling us cheaters because of it. Yet, their own player is stealing a $2 bottle of Gatorade...

God damn cheaters. Quinching their thirst for free and shit.

Wouldn't this be considered a competitive advantage?

Or like "it rubs the soap on it's skin or it gets the hose again ..." but without a well.

Jesus. I hope Urban has a security detail in Happy Valley next year. Those crazy fucktards are whipping themselves into quite the orgy of hate towards him. @ Ped Aggy 2012 is probably the first Ohio State game in my lifetime that I would be seriously concerned about my safety were I to attend.

Can you imagine if the Big Ten (undoubtedly under direct orders from their masters in Columbus and Ann Arbor) has slapped conference sanctions on them by then?

[ped aggy]That's unpossible! All sorts of coaches are lining up for this job, but the BoT is dragging their feet and letting cheaters steal all the recruits away![ped aggy]
