But the amount of jackfucks who slam on their brakes and come to a near-complete stop before getting to the turn lane is staggering and almost caused a pileup every time because normal people think that through traffic lanes are, you know, for through traffic. Zen Arcade is one of my all time favorites. Close to 25 years ago I casually asked Bob to drag Chartered Trips out on the road again. Nothing came of it until a friend of mine ended up being his bass player about 10 years ago... so I started bugging him... sure enough, Chartered Trips started showing up in set lists. Kinda have lost touch with Jason over the last few years, but you can see him in the last link below. I was a huge fan of one of his bands, Verbow. If interested, check out Chronicles. And apparently, he’s got the sexiest elbows in music...

Regardless of me having anything to do with it or not, first time I heard Chartered Trips live since the ‘80s (Metro in Chicago), after seeing Bob close to 30 times over the years, I absolutely lost my shit. That show took me back well over half my lifetime. God damn it was good.

Do computers really make us more productive? My company is doing all sorts of security stuff to my computer that just fries it’s performance. Half the time I can’t VPN into the office because the security on the VPN says my computer isn’t up-to-date, but the computer updates don’t work properly so I can’t keep it up to date. Now they have some push to my phone that I have to respond to that allows me access to certain functionality. It’s now telling me my phone isn’t at the latest iOS, which I’m not going to until the bugs are worked out.

I spend more time fucking with this shit then just doing what I need to do.
