People to Punch, Pet Peeves, and General Vexations (mega-merge)

Whelp, my car got rear-ended by a dude not paying attention. He's a 78 year old that obviously can't drive (and shouldn't be driving). It's going to suck for him if he wants to drive again because he has the violation (Lord knows how much that will be) and $160 to get his license and tag released. Oh, he was uninsured. Now I have to pay my fucking $500 deductible AT CHRISTMAS because some ancient son-of-a-bitch shouldn't be driving. Motherfucker, if you are old and have to get around, I feel for you, I really do. But I can't afford to subsidize your problems. Am I supposed to feel bad for him? What if he kills someone? FUCK YOU. If you can't afford insurance - don't drive. I wouldn't shed a fucking tear if he wound up in prison.
Well, if it makes you feel any better I had an underinsured sorority girl type do the same thing to me over the summer...plowed right into me going highway speed when I was stopped because traffic was checked up. $27k worth of damage to a car that was only a month old and is now basically worthless because it’s been rebuilt

A sorority type girl turned left in front of me years ago and caused some serious damage. Had my wife not been there and her Dad hadn't shown up 5 minutes later it's possible we could have worked something out.

Drunk dip shit rear-ended me at a stoplight (driving his girlfriend's car of course) years ago. My car was a few months old and the first one I'd ever bought new. The girlfriend's insurance covered the repairs, but the car was never quite the same afterwards.

Lol, accessed the police report on line. The fuckstick told the cops that my daughter (the driver) slammed on her brakes and that's why he hit her. Fortunately, 2 witnesses told the police that she had been there for several seconds. Not that it would have mattered to them - safe following distance and all.

I'd love to give that guy about $500 worth of ass-kicking.

Surprisingly, it does not.

The people in various apartments around us shooting off fireworks for a good 2+ hours, right in between 2 buildings in the complex surrounded by parked cars. Watched sparks rain on my car and a few others several times, and watched them have a few wind up right over the woods right against the parking area. I'm fine with a few, but 2+ hours worth in the middle of a bunch of cars (that aren't yours), GTFO. Oh, and the idiot with a Roman candle that kept waving it towards the damn building. Dumbass.

The Grand River is overflowing off the bayou and crossing the road out in front of my house. It’s a good 15 yds along the length of the road.

Lots of stupid people going through it in their cars. Waiting for the first car to stall out....

Well, oddly enough, a Insurance Agent contacted us and took care of everything. Didn't cost me a dime. I'm not sure what the story was, either it wasn't his car and whose ever it was had insurance or if he was just shook up or whatever. The shitty thing for him is he is still going to have to pay a fine for not provided proof of insurance at the scene. I asked a cop this and he said that. I asked him if the guy had 24 hours or whatever and he said "no". With the information available on phones and shit he didn't have an excuse.

Oh well, sucks to be him.
