Any Dentist on here? I am quickly becoming an anti-dentite….They always want to fix what they call micro cavities and I swear that just makes things worse down the road…
Don't even get me started on Dentists! About two months ago, I went for some long overdue work. I had already decided that the best course of action was to take the plunge and get dentures, since my insurance actually covers the cost. I went over everything regarding insurance with the dentist, and he assured me the cost would be covered. He commenced to do all the extractions. When I set up the appointment to get the impressions done, he informed me that he didn't do dentures through my insurance because they basically don't pay enough. He claimed he told me this in the beginning. ( he didn't, he said my insurance was fine) Now I've been stuck with no teeth for the last two months, scrambling to find a provider who will take my coverage ( I did) and have to wait another month just to get in for an initial appointment with a new dentist. I'm getting sick and tired of having to eat nothing but food I can "gum". I'm dying for a good juicy steak! I'm really wondering if I have any legal recourse against the dentist who left me toothless.

Jesus. If I were a dentist, I’d make someone sign paperwork regarding mutual understanding of insurance coverage for dentures prior to doing an extraction like that.

Honestly, what fucking dentist does that without providing an estimated cost worksheet prior to ripping out all of someone’s fucking teeth?

You should kick him in the balls. And talk to an attorney. I doubt that you have recourse without any proof, but fuck...

It may not be legal but you could always leave him toothless as well.

The dentist had to have signed some agreement with the dental insurance company as a "participating dentist". Just for general purposes I'd contact the insurance company and report this. If they get enough complaints and he'll be kicked out of their program.

When the dentists are getting as bad as auto service advisors and mechanics...:grr:

I'd still rate lawyers, politicians, TV preachers, used car salesmen, and taxi drivers (except in Singapore*) as bigger crooks than dentists.....

* I had a taxi driver in Singapore actually give me money back. I told him to "keep the change" and he gave money back saying that was too big of tip.

I did point to an item of furniture once and say “There’s a piece I picked up”, but at the time I had a drunken MILF from a bar passed out in the chair.

The BB73 date brick piece

They sell those at Ethan Allen but you have to ask to see them. They don't just put them out on the display floor for the general public.

Fucking car dealers are all such goddamn scumbags. Car picked out and ordered two months ago and it finally. I'm going to pick it up tonight. I was going to pay cash but decided to take the cheap APR and dump the rest into I-bonds at 7.1% because......fucking duh.

While the salesman is telling me the amount being financed and the term, I'm running the numbers here and their monthly payment is $20 more than what I calculate. Why is that? "Oh, yeah....we put some bullshit proyection on the car for free......but there is a monthly warrant payment on that."

And you decided to try to sneak that by me by burying it in the monthly payment with no other mention of it? Fuck you. Congratulations, you successfully sold a car and lost the same customer in one day. Dickheads.

Why on earth would I trust you with service if you've shown you'll fuck me the minute I'm not looking? Why the fuck would I buy another car from you when my wife's car bites it in the next 5 years?

Bunch of twats.
