2004 stats (p.r.): 58.0 yds per return, 4 TD's

Percy has no current interst in Ohio State, but you can bet that the Buckeye coaching staff will be all over him. He looks like a Ted Ginn clone, and has the unbelieveable stats to match. He could probably play on either side of the ball in college.

Percy was Rivals' junior of the year, and will undoubtedly be one of the top players in the country as a senior.

I drive by Landstown a couple of times per week. It's not too far from where I live. I'll might go to a game or two to see him play. I'll post what I think. I can post some local sports news about the Landstown games for you info.

On the BP 2006 Recruiting Database, Chris Bell out of Norfolk is also listed.

If it turns out that the Buckeyes have a legitimate interest in these kids, and the feeling is at least somewhat reciprocal, I'd be willing to attempt to capture some footage with my digital video camera (and then ship it off to the VG, or whomever).

ohiobuck94, is Landstown high near the courthouse in Virginia Beach?

Nebraska Scout $

Percy's coach, Chris Beatty, said that the recruiting process is definitely picking up right now. If he had to guess on a favorite, Florida State would get the nod. Percy has narrowed his list of favorites to USC, Miami, FSU, Virginia, VT, Michigan, and LSU. Coach Beatty says climate, playing time, and how a team plans to use Percy will be the deciding factors. He does not seem to be playing games with any schools he is not interested in as he told Nebraska, who contacted him on Signing Day, that he appreciated the attention but he was not interested.

Sounds like Michigan might have a shot at this kid, but I am not holding my breath. My bet is that he lands up at FSU or Miami. The kid said it himself he wants to play in warm weather. However, since I am a huge homer I obviously think he should come to Michigan and play CB. We need a new Charles Woodson. MJ was a darn fine lock-down corner but not quite Woodson-esque. We need a Woodson-esque CB and I think Harvin is our man.
